For over 20 years, Rick Cooper has traveled extensively, domestically and internationally, photographing the people, children, places, events and behind-the-scenes motion picture film productions that profoundly shape the vision of our world. Based in Santa Monica, California and Panama City Beach, Florida, it is with a strong desire that Rick hopes his photographs - and the clients he works with - will help breakdown the stereotypes, preconceptions, and prejudices that are so widely held.
Rick has shot in over 25 countries on five continents. He is available for both short and long-term assignments including NGO.
Only by experiencing as much of the world as possible, meeting people of all religious and ethnic backgrounds, and capturing the essence of independent feature films and documentaries through his cameras, can we begin to understand that people everywhere have common desires, goals, hopes and aspirations for world peace. Additionally, Rick is experienced in location photography as well as cast and crew member behind the scenes interviews that are so important to a film's eventual distribution and release.
Rick is an active member of the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) and the Professional Photographers Association of America (PPA).
